2019-02-18sunxi: Sync Bananapi M2+ device tree from Linux v5.0-rc1Chen-Yu Tsai
As of commit aa8fee415f46 ("ARM: dts: sun8i: h3: Split out non-SoC-specific parts of Bananapi M2 Plus") in the Linux kernel, the device tree for the Bananapi M2+ has been split into a common dtsi file, and an SoC-specific board device tree file that includes both the shared dtsi file and the soc dtsi file. This was done to support both the H3 and H5 variants of the same board. This is similar to what was done for the Libre Computer ALL-H3-CC in U-boot commit d7b17f1c24af ("sunxi: Split out common board design for ALL-H3-CC device tree"). The newly split files are directly synced from Linux tag v5.0-rc1. Signed-off-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org> Reviewed-by: Jagan Teki <jagan@openedev.com>
2018-07-16sunxi: DT: H3: update board .dts files from LinuxAndre Przywara
Update the .dts file for the various boards with an Allwinner H3 SoC. This is as of v4.18-rc3, exactly Linux commit: commit 721afaa2aeb860067decdddadc84ed16f42f2048 (HEAD) Merge: 7c00e8ae041b 87815dda5593 Author: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org> Date: Mon Jun 11 17:57:38 2018 -0700 Merge tag 'armsoc-dt' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc This also includes the OrangePi Zero .dts, which technically has an Allwinner H2+ SoC. 2018-07-16sunxi: DT: update device tree files for Allwinner H3 and H5 SoCsAndre Przywara
Update the device tree files from the Linux tree as of v4.18-rc3, exactly Linux commit: commit 55c5ba5e49a0a124ed416880e8227b493474495e Author: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org> Date: Tue Apr 24 19:34:22 2018 +0800 arm64: dts: allwinner: h5: Add cpu0 label for first cpu Since the H3 and H5 are very similar (aside from the actual ARM cores), they share most the SoC .dtsi and thus have to be updated together. One tiny change is the removal of the "arm/" prefix from the include path in the sun50i-h5.dtsi, which is needed because we don't share the same sophisticated DT directory layout of Linux. Also we need to fix up the board .dts files already, since the .dtsi removes some pins, so the .dts can't reference them anymore. This is to maintain bisectability. 2016-08-26sunxi: Sync dts files with upstream kernelHans de Goede
Sync dts files with the current (Aug 18th 2016) state of Maxime's linux/sunxi/for-next repo. Note this commit also updates configs/MSI_Primo81_defconfig, adding: "# CONFIG_REQUIRE_SERIAL_CONSOLE is not set", this is necessary because the tablet does not have a reachable uart so the dts sync drops its serial0 alias.
