2019-07-11test: pci_ep: add basic pci_ep testsRamon Fried
Add basic PCI endpoint sandbox testing. Signed-off-by: Ramon Fried <ramon.fried@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2019-07-10test: dm: Add a test for PCI Enhanced AllocationAlex Marginean
This test is built on top of the existing swap_case driver. It adds EA capability structure support to swap_case and uses that to map BARs. BAR1 works as it used to, swapping upper/lower case. BARs 2,4 map to a couple of magic values. Signed-off-by: Alex Marginean <alexm.osslist@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com> Tested-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
2019-04-23regmap: fix regmap_read_poll_timeout warning about sandbox_timer_add_offsetNeil Armstrong
When fixing sandbox test for regmap_read_poll_timeout(), the sandbox_timer_add_offset was introduced but only defined in sandbox code thus generating warnings when used out of sandbox : include/regmap.h:289:2: note: in expansion of macro 'regmap_read_poll_timeout_test' regmap_read_poll_timeout_test(map, addr, val, cond, sleep_us, \ ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ drivers/spi/meson_spifc.c:169:8: note: in expansion of macro 'regmap_read_poll_timeout' ret = regmap_read_poll_timeout(spifc->regmap, REG_SLAVE, data, ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ drivers/spi/meson_spifc.c: In function 'meson_spifc_txrx': include/regmap.h:277:4: warning: implicit declaration of function 'sandbox_timer_add_offset' [-Wimplicit-function-declaration] This fix adds a timer_test_add_offset() only defined in sandbox, and renames the previous sandbox_timer_add_offset() to it. 2019-02-20sound: Add uclass operations for beepingSimon Glass
Some audio codecs such as Intel HDA do not need to use digital data to play sounds, but instead have a way to emit beeps. Add this interface as an option. If the beep interface is not supported, then the sound uclass falls back to the I2S interface. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
2019-02-20sandbox: pch: Add a test for the PCH uclassSimon Glass
This uclass currently has no tests. Add a sandbox driver and some simple tests to provide basic coverage. 2018-12-13dm: sound: Create a uclass for soundSimon Glass
The sound driver pulls together the audio codec and i2s drivers in order to actually make sounds. It supports setup() and play() methods. The sound_find_codec_i2s() function allows locating the linked codec and i2s devices. They can be referred to from uclass-private data. Add a uclass and a test for sound. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2018-12-13dm: sound: Create a uclass for i2sSimon Glass
The i2s bus is commonly used with audio codecs. It provides a way to stream digital data sychronously in both directions. U-Boot only supports audio output, so this uclass is very simple, with a single tx_data() method. Add a uclass and a test for i2s. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2018-12-13dm: sound: Create a uclass for audio codecsSimon Glass
An audio codec provides a way to convert digital data to sound and vice versa. Add a simple uclass which just supports setting the parameters for the codec. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2018-11-20sf: Add a method to obtain the block-protect settingSimon Glass
It is useful to obtain the block-protect setting of the SPI flash, so we know whether it is fully open or (perhaps partially) write-protected. Add a method for this. Update the sandbox driver to process this operation and add a test. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2018-10-09test: panel: Add a test for the panel uclassSimon Glass

2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2016-06-19clk: convert API to match reset/mailbox styleStephen Warren
The following changes are made to the clock API: * The concept of "clocks" and "peripheral clocks" are unified; each clock provider now implements a single set of clocks. This provides a simpler conceptual interface to clients, and better aligns with device tree clock bindings. * Clocks are now identified with a single "struct clk", rather than requiring clients to store the clock provider device and clock identity values separately. For simple clock consumers, this isolates clients from internal details of the clock API. * clk.h is split so it only contains the client/consumer API, whereas clk-uclass.h contains the provider API. This aligns with the recently added reset and mailbox APIs. * clk_ops .of_xlate(), .request(), and .free() are added so providers can customize these operations if needed. This also aligns with the recently added reset and mailbox APIs. * clk_disable() is added. * All users of the current clock APIs are updated. * Sandbox clock tests are updated to exercise clock lookup via DT, and clock enable/disable. * rkclk_get_clk() is removed and replaced with standard APIs. Buildman shows no clock-related errors for any board for which buildman can download a toolchain. test/py passes for sandbox (which invokes the dm clk test amongst others). 2015-11-19usb: sandbox: Add a USB emulation driverSimon Glass
Add a simple USB keyboard driver for sandbox. It provides a function to 'load' it with input data, which it will then stream through to the normal U-Boot input subsystem. When the input data is exhausted, the keyboard stops providing data. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>

2015-05-05dm: rtc: sandbox: Add an emulated I2C RTC deviceSimon Glass
Add a sandbox I2C emulation device which emulates a real-time clock. The clock works off an offset from the current system time, and supports setting and getting the clock, as well as access to byte-width regisers in the RTC. It does not support changing the system time. This device can be used for testing the 'date' command on sandbox, as well as the RTC uclass. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2015-05-05dm: i2c: Add an explicit test mode to the sandbox I2C driverSimon Glass
At present this driver has a few test features. They are needed for running the driver model unit tests but are confusing and unnecessary if using sandbox at the command line. Add a flag to enable the test mode, and don't enable it by default. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
