2012-04-16MX53: DDR: Fix ZQHWCTRL field TZQ_CSTroy Kisky
Currently, board files are setting this field to 0x01 which the manual says is a reserved value. Change to use the default of 0x02 - 128 cycles. Signed-off-by: Troy Kisky <troy.kisky@boundarydevices.com> Acked-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@freescale.com>
2012-03-27mx53ard: Initialize return code with errorFabio Estevam
The variable "rc" is the return of board_eth_init() function. Initialize it with an error code, so that this function can return an error when CONFIG_SMC911X is not set. Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@freescale.com> Acked-by: Stefano Babic <sbabic@denx.de>
2012-02-27mx53ard: Use gpio_direction_input prior to gpio_get_valueFabio Estevam
Use gpio_direction_input prior to gpio_get_value. Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@freescale.com>
2012-01-08mmc: Change board_mmc_getcd() function prototype.Thierry Reding
The new API no longer uses the extra cd parameter that was used to store the card presence state. Instead, this information is returned via the function's return value. board_mmc_getcd() returns -1 to indicate that no card-detection mechanism is implemented; 0 indicates that no card is present and 1 is returned if it was detected that a card is present. The rationale for this change can be found in the following email thread: http://lists.denx.de/pipermail/u-boot/2011-November/110180.html In summary, the old API was not consistent with the rest of the MMC API which always passes a struct mmc as the first parameter. Furthermore the cd parameter was used to mean "card absence" in some implementations and "card presence" in others. 2011-12-06mx53ard: Configure the pins as GPIOs prior to using gpio_get_valueFabio Estevam
Configure the pins as GPIO prior to using gpio_get_value. Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@freescale.com>
2011-11-04mx53ard: Remove unused get_board_rev functionFabio Estevam
No board information is passed for MX53ARD, so remove get_board_rev function. Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@freescale.com>
2011-10-15punt unused clean/distclean targetsMike Frysinger
The top level Makefile does not do any recursion into subdirs when cleaning, so these clean/distclean targets in random arch/board dirs never get used. Punt them all. MAKEALL didn't report any errors related to this that I could see. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
2011-09-30mx53ard: Place machine ID into board configFabio Estevam
Let common code set the machine ID. Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@freescale.com>

2011-09-04mx53: ddr3: Update DD3 initializationFabio Estevam
Updated mx53 ddr3 script in order to align with the latest Freescale version from July 8, 2011: -change ESDREF[REF_SEL]=01 (for 32KHz), from incorrect setting of 00 (64KHz) -change DDR3 MR0 write to "setmem /32 0x63fd901c = 0x052080b0" from "0x092080b0". This changes write recovery from 8 clocks to 6 clocks (in line with ESDCFG1[tWR]) Signed-off-by: Lily Zhang <r58066@freescale.com> Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@freescale.com>
2011-07-17Remove volatile qualifier in get_ram_size() callsAlbert ARIBAUD
Checkpatch.pl complains about the volatile qualifier in calls to get_ram_size(). Remove this qualifier in the prototype and in the calls where it is useless, and leave it only in the function body where it is needed. Signed-off-by: Albert ARIBAUD <albert.u.boot@aribaud.net>
