The SPL DFU uses dfu_alt_info_N variable name to determine the DFU
configuration, where N is the name of the media (e.g. ram). It does
not use the plain dfu_alt_info. Print the name of the missing env
variable in case of a failure instead of printing dfu_alt_info,
which is just the name of the parameter passed to spl_dfu_cmd().

As explained in include/configs/imx6_spl.h. the i.MX6 SPL
size limit is 68KB (4KB header + 64KB max size).
Provide such limit for all i.MX6 boards that use SPL
to detect SPL size overflow in build time.

This adds a size check for SPL that can dynamically check generated
SPL binaries (including devicetree) for a size limit that ensures
this image plus global data, heap and stack fit in initial SRAM.
Since some of these sizes are not available to make, a new host tool
'spl_size_limit' is added that dumps the resulting maximum size for
an SPL binary to stdout. This tool is used in toplevel Makefile to
implement the size check on SPL binaries.

By default the configuration of the PMC is to have an external crystal
connected that requires driving on both XIN and XOUT pins.
The bypass configuration means that only XIN will be used, the SoC will not
do any driving, and the XIN needs to be provided with a proper signal.
This is the MOSCXTBY bit in the PMC main clock generator register.
The SPL needs to properly initialize the PMC registers before switching
to external clock signal and raising the clock to the cruise speed.
Also created Kconfig for this specific configuration.
By default this is disabled.

Set the spl_image->fdt_addr pointer both for simple fitImage configuration
as well as full fitImage configuration, to let spl_perform_fixups() access
the DT and perform modifications to it if necessary.

FIT_IMAGE_TINY is used to reduce the size of the SPL by removing os-type
tracking and recording the loadables into the loaded FDT. When this option
is enabled, it is assumed that the next stage firmware is u-boot.
However this does not play well with the SPL_OS_BOOT option that enables
loading different type of next stage firmware, like the OS itself.
When SPL_OS_BOOT is used, do not disable os-tracking. The added footprint
is about 300 Bytes.

This patch tries to implement a generic watchdog_reset() function that
can be used by all boards that want to service the watchdog device in
U-Boot. This watchdog servicing is enabled via CONFIG_WATCHDOG.
Without this approach, new boards or platforms needed to implement a
board specific version of this functionality, mostly copy'ing the same
code over and over again into their board or platforms code base.
With this new generic function, the scattered other functions are now
removed to be replaced by the generic one. The new version also enables
the configuration of the watchdog timeout via the DT "timeout-sec"
property (if enabled via CONFIG_OF_CONTROL).
This patch also adds a new flag to the GD flags, to flag that the
watchdog is ready to use and adds the pointer to the watchdog device
to the GD. This enables us to remove the global "watchdog_dev"
variable, which was prone to cause problems because of its potentially
very early use in watchdog_reset(), even before the BSS is cleared.

This patch adds a short message to the SPL NAND loader, which displays
the source and destinations addresses including the size of the
loaded image, like this:

This patch update the behavior introduced by
commit 96907c0fe50a ("dm: spi: Read default speed and mode values from DT")
In case of DT boot, don't read default speed and mode for SPI from
CONFIG_* but instead read from DT node. This will make sure that boards
with multiple SPI/QSPI controllers can be probed at different
bus frequencies and SPI modes.
Remove also use in boards of the value speed=0 (no more supported)
for ENV in SPI by using CONFIG_ENV_SPI_MAX_HZ=0.
DT values will be always used when available (full DM support of
SPI slave with available DT node) even if speed and mode are requested;
for example in splash screen support (in splash_sf_read_raw)
or in SPL boot (in spl_spi_load_image).
The caller of spi_get_bus_and_cs() no more need to force speed=0.
But the current behavior don't change if the SPI slave is not
present (device with generic driver is created automatically)
or if platdata is used (CONFIG_OF_PLATDATA).

In case the gunzip() call fails, it will print an error message.
If that happens within the YModem session, the error message will
not be displayed and would be useless. Move the gunzip() call out
of the YModem session to make those possible error messages visible.

If FIT_IMAGE_TINY is enabled, spl_fit_image_get_os returns -ENOTSUPP.
In this case, we should default to IH_OS_U_BOOT not to IH_OS_INVALID.

To find out how big the early malloc heap must be in SPL, add a debug
print statement that dumps its usage before switching to relocated heap
in spl_relocate_stack_gd() via CONFIG_SPL_STACK_R_MALLOC_SIMPLE_LEN.

SPL currently does not check uImage CRCs when loading U-Boot.
This patch adds checking the uImage CRC when SPL loads U-Boot. It does
this by reusing the existing config option SPL_CRC32_SUPPORT to allow
leaving out the CRC check on boards where the additional code size or
boot time is a problem (adding the CRC check currently adds ~1.4 kByte
to flash).
The SPL_CRC32_SUPPORT config option now gets enabled by default if SPL
support for legacy images is enabled to check the CRC on all boards
that don't actively take countermeasures.

Since there is the SPL_USB_HOST_SUPPORT for enabling USB support in SPL,
makes more sense to rename the SPL_USB_SUPPORT as SPL_USB_STORAGE.
Everything that is not part of the usb storage support in SPL is now
build under SPL_USB_HOST_SUPPORT.

SPL only needs to be able to read from SPI Flash to load next stage and
does not really need write/erase etc. Therefore in order to reduce SPI
Flash code size in SPL, enable SPI_FLASH_TINY, that only supports
reading from SPI flash, as default.
Note: Since, SPI_FLASH_TINY does not support SPI_FLASH_BAR,
SPI_FLASH_TINY is not enabled for boards with SPI controllers that
cannot support 4 byte addressing.

Add a tiny SPI flash stack that just supports reading data/images from
SPI flash. This is useful for boards that have SPL size constraints and
would need to use SPI flash framework just to read images/data from
flash. There is approximately 1.5 to 2KB savings with this.

Most of the time SPL only needs very simple FAT reading, so having
CONFIG_IS_ENABLED(FAT_WRITE) to exclude it from SPL build would help
to save 64KiB default max clustersize from memory.

Make use of "IMAGE_MAX_SIZE" and "IMAGE_TEXT_BASE" rather than
CONFIG_SPL_MAX_SIZE and CONFIG_SPL_TEXT_BASE. This lets us re-use the
same script for both SPL and TPL. Add logic to scripts/Makefile.spl to
pass in the right value when preprocessing the script.

Add support for gunzip-ing gzip-compressed uImages in the SPL Ymodem code.
Loading data over Ymodem can be gruelingly slow, gzip-ing the data can
reduce that aggravating slowness at least slightly (depends on the data,
u-boot.bin compresses to ~1/3 of it's original size on ARM64), hence add
optional support for decompressing gzip-compressed uImages.

If we don't define CONFIG_SPL_FIT_IMAGE_TINY, when loading images from FIT,
the SPL will record all loadables' info to u-boot's FDT. This causes
problem when HAB is enabled, because FDT's content is modified before
we authenticate it.

Introduce two board level callback functions to FIT image loading process, and
a SPL_FIT_FOUND flag to differentiate FIT image or RAW image.
Implement functions in imx common SPL codes to call HAB funtion
to authenticate the FIT image. Generally, we have to sign multiple regions
in FIT image:
1. Sign FIT FDT data (configuration)
2. Sign FIT external data (Sub-images)
Because the CSF supports to sign multiple memory blocks, so that we can use one
signature to cover all regions in FIT image and only authenticate once.
The authentication should be done after the entire FIT image is loaded into
memory including all sub-images.
We use "-p" option to generate FIT image to reserve a space for FIT IVT
and FIT CSF, also this help to fix the offset of the external data (u-boot-nodtb.bin,
ATF, u-boot DTB).
The signed FIT image layout is as below:

If DM_USB_GADGET is used, the usb ethernet gadget driver must be bound to a
controller before the image can be downloaded over the network.
In u-boot this can be done with the bind command. In SPL it must be done
programmatically.

Building U-Boot with CONFIG_PCI and CONFIG_DM_PCI enabled, but
CONFIG_SPL_PCI_SUPPORT disabled, results in following linker
error:
lib/built-in.o: In function `fdtdec_get_pci_bar32':
lib/fdtdec.c:305: undefined reference to `dm_pci_read_bar32'
fdtdec.c:305:(.text.fdtdec_get_pci_bar32+0x24): relocation truncated to fit: R_AARCH64_CALL26 against undefined symbol `dm_pci_read_bar32'
This is because reference to dm_pci_read_bar32() remains in lib/fdtdec.c
while SPL build does not descend into drivers/pci directory in
drivers/Makefile if CONFIG_SPL_PCI_SUPPORT is not enabled.
Fix this by applying appropriate #define guards in lib/fdtdec.c.
It looks like ns16550.c has the same problem, so fixed that too.
To simplify this, CONFIG_SPL_PCI_SUPPORT is renamed to CONFIG_SPL_PCI
(enables use of CONFIG_IS_ENABLED() macro).

There is some basic informaton that SPL normally wants to pass through to
U-Boot, such as the SDRAM size and bank information.
Mkae use of the new bloblist structure for this. Add a new 'handoff' blob
which is set up in SPL and passed to U-Boot proper. Also adda test for
sandbox_spl that checks that this works correctly and a new 'sb' command
to show the information passed from SPL.

There is a strange feature to set global_data to a data-section variable
early in SPL. This only works if SPL actually has access to SRAM which is
not the case on x86, for eaxmple. Add a comment to this effect.

We should use a macro rather than hard-coding the SPL prompt to 'spl'
since the code can be used by TPL too. Add a macro that works for both
and use it in various places.
This allows TPL to use the same code without printing confusing messages.
Note that the string is lower case ('spl', 'tpl') which is a change from
previously.

At present these subsystems are only supported in U-Boot proper but it is
sometimes necessary to support them in SPL, or even TPL. Update the
Kconfig and Makefile to support this. Also adjust GPIO so that it can be
used in TPL if required.

Tiny printf does not support %.*s and %lX. Since tiny printf should
be very common in SPL, replace these by %32s (for printing image

This patch partially reverts:
"spl: fit: Add support for loading FPGA bitstream"
(sha1: 26a642238bdecc53527142dc043b29e21c5cc94c)
There shouldn't be a need to call private spl_load_fpga_image function
because the whole sequence should be already handled by fpga framework.
If there is missing loading bistream by chunks it should be done via
fpga framework instead of having private hooks.
Also spl_load_fpga_image() weak function is not used anywhere and
opening a way for not reviewed hacks out of mainline U-Boot is not the
right way to go.
