2019-02-01spl: Kconfig: Replace CONFIG_SPL_FAT_SUPPORT with CONFIG_SPL_FS_FATTien Fong Chee
Replace CONFIG_SPL_FAT_SUPPORT with CONFIG_SPL_FS_FAT so obj-$(CONFIG_$(SPL_)FS_FAT) can be used to control the build in both SPL and U-Boot. 2019-01-18arm: am335x-pdu001: Remove SPI supportFelix Brack
On this board SPI is only used to configure the SoC driving the LC TFT display which is not used in U-Boot. Hence remove SPI support. Signed-off-by: Felix Brack <fb@ltec.ch>

2018-12-12arm: am335x-pdu001: Move from embedded to separate DTBFelix Brack
There is no need for an embedded device tree for this board so let the build process generate a separate u-boot.dtb file instead. Signed-off-by: Felix Brack <fb@ltec.ch>
2018-12-10configs: am335x: am57x: dra7x: Enable CONFIG_SPL_DM_SEQ_ALIASJean-Jacques Hiblot
Those platforms need CONFIG_SPL_DM_SEQ_ALIAS because they enable both DM_I2C and SPL_DM. Without CONFIG_SPL_DM_SEQ_ALIAS, it is not possible to get the I2C bus with i2c_get_chip_for_busnum(). 2018-12-07arm: am335x-pdu001: Enable CONFIG_BLK and CONFIG_DM_MMCFelix Brack
This patch enables CONFIG_BLK as well as CONFIG_DM_MMC for the PDU001 board. It depends on Patrice Chotard's patch 'power: regulator: denied disable on always-on regulator' which prevents power cycling the vmmc supply. Without this patch the board will not boot as vmmc is unfortunately used by other board components, not just eMMC and micro SD card. Furthermore my patch 'dts: am335x-pdu001: Fix polarity of card detection input' is required to boot from external micro SD card. Without this patch no SD card will be detected and hence booting will fail. Signed-off-by: Felix Brack <fb@ltec.ch> Reviewed-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>

2018-04-27Convert CONFIG_SPI to KconfigAdam Ford
This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_SPI This partly involves updating code that assumes that CONFIG_SPI implies things that are specific to the MPC8xx SPI driver. For now, just update the CONFIG tests. This also involves reworking the default for CONFIG_SYS_DEF_EEPROM_ADDR so that we don't set it when we cannot make a reasonable default, as it does not cause any compile failures. 2018-04-13configs: Fixup some CPSW-related itemsTom Rini
- For am335x_pdu001 we do not want the CPSW driver, drop it - Re-sync the defconfig for am43xx_evm_rtconly as it came in after the patch that converted CPSW to Kconfig was posted but before it was applied. - Drop empty section / comments from pengwyn - Drop empty section / comments from baltos and drop unused CONFIG_SPL_NET_VCI_STRING (it does not enable CONFIG_SPL_NET_SUPPORT currently and SPL_NET_VCI_STRING has been migrated already). 2018-03-16Convert all of CONFIG_CONS_INDEX to KconfigTom Rini
This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_CONS_INDEX We have existing entries for this option in a number of places, with different guards on them. They're also sometimes used for things not directly inside of the serial driver. First, introduce a new symbol to guard the use of CONFIG_CONS_INDEX, so that in the case where we don't need this for the serial driver, but for some other use, we can still do it. Next, consolidate all of these into the single entry in drivers/serial/Kconfig. Finally, introduce CONS_INDEX_[023456] so that we can imply a correct value here to make the defconfig side of this smaller.
