The Firefly RK3288 is a suitable target board for initial mainline Rockchip support. It includes a good set of peripherals, a recent SoC and it is readily available. Currently we need to build one U-boot image for each of the udoo variants: quad and dual-lite. By switching to SPL we can support all two variants with a single binary.
