2018-02-13rockchip: gpio: remove dead codeHeinrich Schuchardt
In the following statements if (a) return a; if (a) return c; the second return can never be executed. Identified by cppcheck. Signed-off-by: Heinrich Schuchardt <xypron.glpk@gmx.de> Acked-by: Philipp Tomsich <philipp.tomsich@theobroma-systems.com> Reviewed-by: Philipp Tomsich <philipp.tomsich@theobroma-systems.com>
2017-09-18rockchip: gpio: remove outdated/misleading commentPhilipp Tomsich
Remove a comment claiming that this driver only supports the RK3288, as we also use it on the RK3368, RK3399 and (most likely) on other variants. Signed-off-by: Philipp Tomsich <philipp.tomsich@theobroma-systems.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Acked-by: Philipp Tomsich <philipp.tomsich@theobroma-systems.com> Version-changes: 2 - use the dev_read_addr_ptr function in rk_gpio.c
2017-09-18rockchip: gpio: convert to livetreePhilipp Tomsich
Update the Rockchip GPIO-bank driver to support a live tree. 2017-06-01dm: Rename dev_addr..() functionsSimon Glass
These support the flat device tree. We want to use the dev_read_..() prefix for functions that support both flat tree and live tree. So rename the existing functions to avoid confusion. In the end we will have: 1. dev_read_addr...() - works on devices, supports flat/live tree 2. devfdt_get_addr...() - current functions, flat tree only 3. of_get_address() etc. - new functions, live tree only All drivers will be written to use 1. That function will in turn call either 2 or 3 depending on whether the flat or live tree is in use. Note this involves changing some dead code - the imx_lpi2c.c file. 2016-09-23treewide: replace #include <asm/errno.h> with <linux/errno.h>Masahiro Yamada
Now, arch/${ARCH}/include/asm/errno.h and include/linux/errno.h have the same content. (both just wrap <asm-generic/errno.h>) Replace all include directives for <asm/errno.h> with <linux/errno.h>. 2016-05-31gpio: add Tegra186 GPIO driverStephen Warren
Tegra186's GPIO controller register layout is significantly different from previous chips, so add a new driver for it. In fact, there are two different GPIO controllers in Tegra186 that share a similar register layout, but very different port mapping. This driver covers both. The DT binding is already present in the Linux kernel (in linux-next via the Tegra tree so far). 2016-05-17gpio: rk: remove gpio_xlate routineEric Nelson
With the addition of GPIO_ACTIVE_LOW parsing in gpio-uclass, the Rockchip gpio driver doesn't need a custom xlate routine. Signed-off-by: Eric Nelson <eric@nelint.com> Acked-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2016-03-14dm: Use uclass_first_device_err() where it is usefulSimon Glass
Use this new function in places where it simplifies the code. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2016-01-21rockchip: gpio: Implement the get_function() methodSimon Glass
Provide this method so that 'gpio status' works fully. It now shows whether a pin is used for input, output or some other function. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2016-01-21rockchip: gpio: Read the GPIO value correctlySimon Glass
This function should return 0 or 1, not a mask. Fix it. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>

This supports RK3288 at present. It does not implement functions or support for pull up/down. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
