2019-11-19input: Move input.o to be built only in some casesTom Rini
We only need to build and link input.o when we have any of CONFIG_KEYBOARD, CONFIG_DM_KEYBOARD (and SPL/TPL variants) or CONFIG_TEGRA_KEYBOARD set. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2018-10-09spl: input: Allow input in SPL and TPLSimon Glass
In some cases it is necessary to read the keyboard in early phases of U-Boot. Update the config to allow this. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2018-04-06input: Drop PS/2 keyboard supportSimon Glass
This is not used by any current board and has not been converted to driver model. Drop it. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2016-03-15input: TWL6030 input support for power button, USB and chargerPaul Kocialkowski
This adds support for detecting a few inputs exported by the TWL6030. Currently-supported inputs are the power button, USB and charger presence. Signed-off-by: Paul Kocialkowski <contact@paulk.fr>
2015-11-19input: Convert i8042 to driver modelSimon Glass
Adjust this driver to support driver model. The only users are x86 boards so this should be safe. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com> Tested-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
2015-11-19dm: input: Create a keyboard uclassSimon Glass
Add a uclass for keyboard input, mirroring the existing stdio methods. This is enabled by a new CONFIG_DM_KEYBOARD option. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Marek Vasut <marex@denx.de> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
2015-08-18of: clean up OF_CONTROL ifdef conditionalsMasahiro Yamada
We have flipped CONFIG_SPL_DISABLE_OF_CONTROL. We have cleansing devices, $(SPL_) and CONFIG_IS_ENABLED(), so we are ready to clear away the ugly logic in include/fdtdec.h: #ifdef CONFIG_OF_CONTROL # if defined(CONFIG_SPL_BUILD) && !defined(SPL_OF_CONTROL) # define OF_CONTROL 0 # else # define OF_CONTROL 1 # endif #else # define OF_CONTROL 0 #endif Now CONFIG_IS_ENABLED(OF_CONTROL) is the substitute. It refers to CONFIG_OF_CONTROL for U-boot proper and CONFIG_SPL_OF_CONTROL for SPL. Also, we no longer have to cancel CONFIG_OF_CONTROL in include/config_uncmd_spl.h and scripts/Makefile.spl. 2012-05-15input: Add support for keyboard matrix decoding from an fdtBernie Thompson
Matrix keyboards require a key map to be set up, and must also deal with key ghosting. Create a keyboard matrix management implementation which can be leveraged by various keyboard drivers. This includes code to read the keymap from the FDT and perform debouncing. 2012-05-15input: Add generic keyboard input handlerSimon Glass
Add a module which understands converting key codes (or scan codes) to ASCII characters. It includes FIFO support and can call back to drivers to read new characters when its FIFO is empty. Keycode maps are provided for un-modified, shift and ctrl keys. The plan is to use this module where such mapping is required. 2010-11-17Switch from archive libraries to partial linkingSebastien Carlier
Before this commit, weak symbols were not overridden by non-weak symbols found in archive libraries when linking with recent versions of binutils. As stated in the System V ABI, "the link editor does not extract archive members to resolve undefined weak symbols". This commit changes all Makefiles to use partial linking (ld -r) instead of creating library archives, which forces all symbols to participate in linking, allowing non-weak symbols to override weak symbols as intended. This approach is also used by Linux, from which the gmake function cmd_link_o_target (defined in config.mk and used in all Makefiles) is inspired. The name of each former library archive is preserved except for extensions which change from ".a" to ".o". This commit updates references accordingly where needed, in particular in some linker scripts. This commit reveals board configurations that exclude some features but include source files that depend these disabled features in the build, resulting in undefined symbols. Known such cases include: - disabling CMD_NET but not CMD_NFS; - enabling CONFIG_OF_LIBFDT but not CONFIG_QE. Signed-off-by: Sebastien Carlier <sebastien.carlier@gmail.com>
