2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2016-09-23treewide: replace #include <asm/errno.h> with <linux/errno.h>Masahiro Yamada
Now, arch/${ARCH}/include/asm/errno.h and include/linux/errno.h have the same content. (both just wrap <asm-generic/errno.h>) Replace all include directives for <asm/errno.h> with <linux/errno.h>. 2016-06-03mtd: nand: Add page argument to write_page() etc.Scott Wood
This change is part of the Linux 4.6 sync. It is being done before the main sync patch in order to make it easier to address the issue across all NAND drivers (many/most of which do not closely track their Linux counterparts) separately from other merge issues. These functions are part of the Linux 4.6 sync. They are being added before the main sync patch in order to make it easier to address the issue across all NAND drivers (many/most of which do not closely track their Linux counterparts) separately from other merge issues. 2015-08-18nand: lpc32xx: add ECC layout for small page NANDSylvain Lemieux
Incorporate ECC layout for small page NAND from legacy LPCLinux NXP BSP. The code taken from the legacy patch is: - lpc32xx SLC NAND driver (ECC layout for small page) This layout is matching the lpc32xx NAND SLC Linux Kernel driver. Signed-off-by: Sylvain Lemieux <slemieux@tycoint.com>
2015-08-18nand: lpc32xx: add hardware ECC supportSylvain Lemieux
Incorporate NAND SLC hardware ECC support from legacy LPCLinux NXP BSP. The code taken from the legacy patch is: - lpc32xx SLC NAND driver (hardware ECC support) - lpc3250 header file missing SLC NAND registers definition The legacy driver was updated and clean-up as part of the integration with the existing NAND SLC driver. 2015-08-12nand: lpc32xx: add SLC NAND controller supportVladimir Zapolskiy
The change adds support of LPC32xx SLC NAND controller. LPC32xx SoC has two different mutually exclusive NAND controllers to communicate with single and multiple layer chips. This simple driver allows to specify NAND chip timings and defines custom read_buf()/write_buf() operations, because access to 8-bit data register must be 32-bit aligned. Support of hardware ECC calculation is not implemented (data correction is always done by software), since it requires a working DMA engine. The driver can be included to an SPL image.
