2018-11-13dm: video: bridge: don't fail to activate bridge if reset or sleep GPIO is ↵Vasily Khoruzhick
missing Both GPIOs are optional, so we shouldn't fail if any is missing. Without this fix reset is not deasserted if sleep GPIO is missing. 2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2017-10-26dm: video: bridge: add operation to read EDIDVasily Khoruzhick
Add an operation to read EDID, since bridge may have ability to read EDID from the panel that is connected to it, for example LCD<->eDP bridge. Signed-off-by: Vasily Khoruzhick <anarsoul@gmail.com>
2016-01-21video: bridge: Allow GPIOs to be optionalSimon Glass
Some video bridges will not have GPIOs to control reset, etc. Allow these to be optional. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2015-08-05video: Work around lack of pinctrlSimon Glass
We haven't quite got pinctrl ready to apply to mainline. We don't want to GPIO pull-up/down support to the driver model GPIO layer either. So work around this for now. We can address this when pinctrl is complete. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2015-08-05dm: video: Add support for video bridgesSimon Glass
A video bridge typically converts video from one format to another, e.g. DisplayPort to LVDS. Add driver model support for these with a simple interface to control activation and backlight. The uclass supports GPIO control of power and reset lines. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
