2014-11-17spi, atmel: move CONFIG_SYS_SPI_WRITE_TOUT into common headerHeiko Schocher
move CONFIG_SYS_SPI_WRITE_TOUT into drivers/spi/atmel_spi.h and define a default value. Delete this define in the board config files, where it is possible (all boards use currently the same value). 2012-09-01ARM: Remove unused stack and irq config definesRob Herring
CONFIG_STACKSIZE is not referenced anywhere except on AVR32, but present in most ARM board config files. IRQs are only enabled for 1 config, so remove the unused config options for IRQ and FIQ stack size as well. 2012-07-07AT91SAM9*: Change kernel address in dataflash to match u-boot's sizeAlexandre Belloni
On at91sam platforms, u-boot grew larger than the allocated size in dataflash, the layout was: bootstrap 0x00000000 ubootenv 0x00004200 uboot 0x00008400 kernel 0x00042000 fs 0x00252000 u-boot with the defconfig doesn't seem to fit in 0x42000 - 0x8400 = 0x39C00 bytes anymore. Now, the layout is: bootstrap 0x00000000 ubootenv 0x00004200 uboot 0x00008400 kernel 0x00084000 fs 0x00294000 Signed-off-by: Alexandre Belloni <alexandre.belloni@piout.net> Signed-off-by: Andreas Bießmann <andreas.devel@googlemail.com>
2012-06-20CONFIG_SYS_BAUDRATE_TABLE: Add <config_fallbacks.h>, place thereTom Rini
We provide a default table of { 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200 } in <config_fallbacks.h> which mkconfig places after <configs/...h> in the generated config file. This is used when a board has not set its own table. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@ti.com>

2010-10-29Drop support for CONFIG_SKIP_RELOCATE_UBOOTWolfgang Denk
For ARM systems, before ELF relocation was introduced, CONFIG_SKIP_RELOCATE_UBOOT coul be used to prevent *COPYING* the U-Boot image from whereever it was loaded to it's link address (CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE). The name was badly chosen, as no relocation was performed at all, it was just a memcpy(). With ELF relocation, this does not work like that any more, and related boards need to be fixed anyway. So don't keep this relict any longer. Signed-off-by: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de> Tested-by: Heiko Schocher <hs@denx.de> Tested-by: Reinhard Meyer <u-boot@emk-elektronik.de>
2010-10-26Replace CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE by auto-generated valueWolfgang Denk
CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE has always been just a bad workarond for not being able to use "sizeof(struct global_data)" in assembler files. Recent experience has shown that manual synchronization is not reliable enough. This patch renames CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE into GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE which gets automatically generated by the asm-offsets tool. In the result, all definitions of this value can be deleted from the board config files. We have to make sure that all files that reference such data include the new <asm-offsets.h> file. No other changes have been done yet, but it is obvious that similar changes / simplifications can be done for other, related macro definitions as well. 2010-03-07ARM change name of defines for AT91 arm926ejsAchim Ehrlich
Configuration defines should be preceeded with CONFIG_SYS_. Renamed some at91 specific defines to conform to this naming convention: AT91_CPU_NAME to CONFIG_SYS_AT91_CPU_NAME AT91_MAIN_CLOCK to CONFIG_SYS_AT91_MAIN_CLOCK Signed-off-by: Achim Ehrlich <aehrlich@taskit.de>

2009-08-18Update the mtd driver name in bootargs for at91-based boardsAlbin Tonnerre

2009-07-22AT91: factor out ROUND() macroWolfgang Denk

2009-07-18NAND: Part 2: Fix warning Please define CONFIG_SYS_64BIT_VSPRINTF...Wolfgang Denk
Commit 8d2effea added a warning for configurations that use NAND without defining the (then necessary) CONFIG_SYS_64BIT_VSPRINTF but failed to fix the affected boards. This patch covers the non-PPC boards that were missed in the previous patch (commit 170c1972). Signed-off-by: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de>

2009-04-03Add "source" command; prepare removal of "autoscr" commandWolfgang Denk
According to the doc/feature-removal-schedule.txt, the "autoscr" command will be replaced by the "source" command in approximately 6 months from now. This patch prepares this change and starts a 6 month transition period as follows: - The new "source" command has been added, which implements exactly the same functionlaity as the old "autoscr" command before - The old "autoscr" command name is kept as an alias for compatibility - Command sequences, script files atc. have been adapted to use the new "source" command - Related environment variables ("autoscript", "autoscript_uname") have *not* been adapted yet; these will be renamed resp. removed in a separate patch when the support for the "autoscr" command get's finally dropped. 2009-01-23NAND: rename NAND_MAX_CHIPS to CONFIG_SYS_NAND_MAX_CHIPSWolfgang Grandegger
This patch renames NAND_MAX_CHIPS to CONFIG_SYS_NAND_MAX_CHIPS and changes the default from 8 to 1 for the legacy and the new MTD NAND layer. This allows to remove all NAND_MAX_CHIPS definitions in the board config files because none of the boards use multi chip support (NAND_MAX_CHIPS > 1) so far. The bamboo and the DU440 define #define NAND_MAX_CHIPS CONFIG_SYS_MAX_NAND_DEVICE but that's bogus and did not work anyhow.
