2016-04-25configs: Re-sync with cmd/KconfigTom Rini
Update the config.h and defconfig files for the commands that 8e3c036 converted over to Kconfig Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2016-04-25include/configs: Whitespace fixupTom Rini
A number of moveconfig.py runs have left a instances of multiple empty lines in a row. Correct this to a single empty line. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2016-04-25configs: Re-sync almost all of cmd/KconfigTom Rini
This syncs up the current cmd/Kconfig and include/configs/ files with the only exception being CMD_NAND. Due to how we have used this historically we need to take further care here when converting. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2016-03-14Kconfig: Move CONFIG_FIT and related options to KconfigSimon Glass
There are already two FIT options in Kconfig but the CONFIG options are still in the header files. We need to do a proper move to fix this. Move these options to Kconfig and tidy up board configuration: CONFIG_FIT CONFIG_OF_BOARD_SETUP CONFIG_OF_SYSTEM_SETUP CONFIG_FIT_SIGNATURE CONFIG_FIT_BEST_MATCH CONFIG_FIT_VERBOSE CONFIG_OF_STDOUT_VIA_ALIAS CONFIG_RSA Unfortunately the first one is a little complicated. We need to make sure this option is not enabled in SPL by this change. Also this option is enabled automatically in the host builds by defining CONFIG_FIT in the image.h file. To solve this, add a new IMAGE_USE_FIT #define which can be used in files that are built on the host but must also build for U-Boot and SPL. Note: Masahiro's moveconfig.py script is amazing. 2015-11-21eeprom: Zap CONFIG_SYS_I2C_MULTI_EEPROMSMarek Vasut
This option only complicates the code unnecessarily, just use CONFIG_SYS_DEF_EEPROM_ADDR as the default address if there are only five arguments to eeprom {read/write} if this is defined. If CONFIG_SYS_DEF_EEPROM_ADDR is not defined, we mandate all six arguments. 2015-10-24arm, powerpc: select SYS_GENERIC_BOARDMasahiro Yamada
We have finished Generic Board conversion for ARM and PowerPC, i.e. all the boards have been converted except OpenRISC, SuperH, SPARC, which have not supported Generic Board framework yet. Select SYS_GENERIC_BOARD in arch/Kconfig and delete all the macro defines in include/configs/*.h. Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com>
2015-06-08autoboot.c: Move config options to KconfigStefan Roese
This patch moves the following config options to Kconfig: CONFIG_AUTOBOOT_KEYED CONFIG_AUTOBOOT_PROMPT CONFIG_AUTOBOOT_DELAY_STR CONFIG_AUTOBOOT_STOP_STR AUTOBOOT_KEYED_CTRLC Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> [trini: Drop ip04 and pm9263 configs/ additions, those boards previously set CONFIG_AUTOBOOT_PROMPT but never used it, re-run savedefconfig over all boards that did change. 2014-01-24powerpc: ppc4xx: remove redundant CONFIG_4xx definitionMasahiro Yamada
We do not have to define CONFIG_4xx in board config headers because it is defined in arch/powerpc/cpu/ppc4xx/config.mk. include/configs/JSE.h defines "CONFIG_4x", not "CONFIG_4xx". I believe it is a typo because "CONFIG_4x" is not used at all in other files. So, I also deleted "CONFIG_4x" in include/configs/JSE.h. Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.m@jp.panasonic.com>
2013-07-24Merge branch 'master' of git://git.denx.de/u-boot-i2cTom Rini

2013-06-07pci: introduce CONFIG_PCI_INDIRECT_BRIDGE optionGabor Juhos
The pci_indirect.c file is always compiled when CONFIG_PCI is defined although the indirect PCI bridge support is not needed by every board. Introduce a new CONFIG_PCI_INDIRECT_BRIDGE config option and only compile indirect PCI bridge support if this options is enabled. Also add the new option into the configuration files of the boards which needs that. Compile tested for powerpc, x86, arm and nds32. MAKEALL results: powerpc: --------------------- SUMMARY ---------------------------- Boards compiled: 641 Boards with warnings but no errors: 2 ( ELPPC MPC8323ERDB ) ---------------------------------------------------------- Note: the warnings for ELPPC and MPC8323ERDB are present even without the actual patch. x86: --------------------- SUMMARY ---------------------------- Boards compiled: 1 ---------------------------------------------------------- arm: --------------------- SUMMARY ---------------------------- Boards compiled: 311 ---------------------------------------------------------- nds32: --------------------- SUMMARY ---------------------------- Boards compiled: 3 ---------------------------------------------------------- Cc: Tom Rini <trini@ti.com> Cc: Daniel Schwierzeck <daniel.schwierzeck@googlemail.com> Signed-off-by: Gabor Juhos <juhosg@openwrt.org>

2010-10-26Replace CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE by auto-generated valueWolfgang Denk
CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE has always been just a bad workarond for not being able to use "sizeof(struct global_data)" in assembler files. Recent experience has shown that manual synchronization is not reliable enough. This patch renames CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE into GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE which gets automatically generated by the asm-offsets tool. In the result, all definitions of this value can be deleted from the board config files. We have to make sure that all files that reference such data include the new <asm-offsets.h> file. No other changes have been done yet, but it is obvious that similar changes / simplifications can be done for other, related macro definitions as well. 2010-10-26Rename CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_END into CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_SIZEWolfgang Denk
CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_END was a misnomer as it suggests this might be some end address; to make the meaning more clear we rename it into CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_SIZE No other code changes are performed in this patch, only minor editing of white space (due to the changed length) and the comments was done, where noticed. Note that the code for the PATI and cmi_mpc5xx board configurations looks seriously broken. 2010-10-18Makefile: move all Power Architecture boards into boards.cfgWolfgang Denk
Clean up Makefile, and drop a lot of the config.mk files on the way. We now also automatically pick all boards that are listed in boards.cfg (and with all configurations), so we can drop the redundant entries from MAKEALL to avoid building these twice. Signed-off-by: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de>
2010-09-23ppc4xx: Use common NS16550 driver for PPC4xx UARTStefan Roese
This patch removes the PPC4xx UART driver. Instead the common NS16550 driver is used, since all PPC4xx SoC's use this peripheral device. The file 4xx_uart.c now only implements the UART clock calculation function which also sets the SoC internal UART divisors. All PPC4xx board config headers are changed to use this common NS16550 driver now. Tested on these boards: acadia, canyonlands, katmai, kilauea, sequoia, zeus Signed-off-by: Stefan Roese <sr@denx.de>
2010-09-194xx: add missing CONFIG_SYS_SRAM_SIZE definitionWolfgang Denk
