The AVO-9 series of pulsed laser diode drivers are ideal for use with ultra-fast laser diodes from Lumics, Qphotonics, Fitel, Fujitsu, Mitsubishi, Bookham, Ulm Photonics, Nichia, and others. Each AVO-9 pulsed laser diode driver includes a customized high-speed socket for the user's diode, offering ease of use without noticeably degrading performance! The AVO-9B1 series operates to 200 mA, for pulse widths of 0.5 to 1000 ns, at repetition rates to 1 MHz. The rise times are less than 200 ps. Each model is customized for a specific diode's pinout and I-V characteristics. If a generic pinout option (e.g., -P0, -P1, -P2, -P3, -TO3) is selected, then a drawing showing the diode package size and electrical pinout must be provided by the end-user, and the model number and price may change. If a specific pinout option has been selected (-P1B or -P1C, for instance), no additional information is required.

Exports to other countries requires a specific export permit from the Export Controls Division of Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Development Canada (DFATD). Unfortunately, Avtech is experiencing prolonged delays from DFATD, and we can not currently obtain the required export permits in a timely fashion.
