Source: Pasta & Pizza Presto:
Step-By-Step
serves 4
1 lb. pasta, linguine or fettuccine noodles
4 oz / 125 g prosciutto
salt & pepper
6 tbsp butter
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
fresh sage leaves, to garnish
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add the pasta. Boil until done, as per pasta directions. Drain.
- Meanwhile, slice the prosciutto into long narrow strips, the same width as the pasta. Gently melt the butter in
a saucepan. Stir in the prosciutto strips and heat through. Do not fry.
- Serve the pasta on separate serving plates. Sprinkle the parmesan over top. Pour on the buttery prosciutto, and
season with freshly ground pepper. Garnish with sage leaves.
Simple and tasty. Use only fresh parmesan and sage.
