serves 2-3
2 lbs fresh "pear" tomatoes, halved (or strawberry or cherry tomatoes)
1 large red onion, in 1/4" slices
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp fresh chopped sage leaves (increase next time)
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
pepper to taste
Roast tomatoes and onion in oven or barbeque for 15-20 minutes, until soft and a bit charred.
Puree everything in food processor. Serve on pasta.
