The AVRQ-5-B provides 1.5 kV pulses with linear leading edges, followed by a slower exponential decay back to zero. The transition time (10%-90%) of the leading edge is less than 10 ns into a non-capacitive load, providing transition rates of up to 120 kV/us. The transition time may be increased up to 50 ns by adding capacitance across the load. The fast transition rates make the AVRQ-5-B ideal for testing the common mode transient immunity of cutting-edge optocouplers and other devices.

Prices - USA and Canada
Standard US/Canada prices are listed below. We can also provide you with a formal quote.
Base Model | P/N | Price | Notes |
Semiconductor Test Pulser | AVRQ-5-B |
$31578 |
Base model. Units with the -B suffix include the IEEE-488.2 GPIB and RS-232 computer control feature and a 2m/6ft GPIB cable. |
Amplitude Options | |||
Finer Amplitude Control | -AHV | $1836 | Option. + or -, 1.0 to 1.5 kV, in ≤ 1V steps. No change in rise time specification. |
Finer Extra-High Amplitude Control | -XHV | $2702 | Option. + or -, 1.5 to 2.0 kV, in ≤ 1V steps. The minimum leading edge rise time increases by 5 ns. |
Connectivity Options | |||
Ethernet port, for remote control using VXI-11.3, ssh, telnet, and web | -VXI | $0 | Option. Standard feature for orders after Jan 14, 2019 - it is no longer necessary to specify this option. Adds a rear-panel Ethernet connector, allowing the instrument to be remotely controlled using the VXI-11.3, ssh (secure shell), telnet, and http (web) protocols. In particular, the VXI-11.3 features allows software like LabView to control an instrument using standard VISA communications drivers and network cabling, instead of using old-style GPIB cabling. (This eliminates the need for a GPIB controller card and its proprietary drivers.). |
