2017-06-12powerpc, 8260: remove support for mpc8260Heiko Schocher
There was for long time no activity in the 8260 area. We need to go further and convert to Kconfig, but it turned out, nobody is interested anymore in 8260, so remove it. Signed-off-by: Heiko Schocher <hs@denx.de>
2017-05-22Drop digital thermometer and thermostat (DTT) driversSimon Glass
This subsystem is quite old. It has been replaced with a driver-model version (UCLASS_THERMAL). Boards are free to convert to that if required, but here is a removal patch that could be applied in the meantime. 2016-10-12common: Add DISPLAY_BOARDINFOLokesh Vutla
Create a Kconfig entry for DISPLAY_BOARDINFO and make it be the default in certain architectures. Migrate all config files. Signed-off-by: Lokesh Vutla <lokeshvutla@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2016-03-14Kconfig: Move CONFIG_FIT and related options to KconfigSimon Glass
There are already two FIT options in Kconfig but the CONFIG options are still in the header files. We need to do a proper move to fix this. Move these options to Kconfig and tidy up board configuration: CONFIG_FIT CONFIG_OF_BOARD_SETUP CONFIG_OF_SYSTEM_SETUP CONFIG_FIT_SIGNATURE CONFIG_FIT_BEST_MATCH CONFIG_FIT_VERBOSE CONFIG_OF_STDOUT_VIA_ALIAS CONFIG_RSA Unfortunately the first one is a little complicated. We need to make sure this option is not enabled in SPL by this change. Also this option is enabled automatically in the host builds by defining CONFIG_FIT in the image.h file. To solve this, add a new IMAGE_USE_FIT #define which can be used in files that are built on the host but must also build for U-Boot and SPL. Note: Masahiro's moveconfig.py script is amazing. 2015-11-18km/powerpc: move open firmware defines to km-powerpc.hHolger Brunck
We use the same settings for open firmware defines on all our powerpc targets, so move them from the CPU specific headers to the common powerpc header. Signed-off-by: Holger Brunck <holger.brunck@keymile.com> Signed-off-by: Valentin Longchamp <valentin.longchamp@keymile.com>
2015-10-24arm, powerpc: select SYS_GENERIC_BOARDMasahiro Yamada
We have finished Generic Board conversion for ARM and PowerPC, i.e. all the boards have been converted except OpenRISC, SuperH, SPARC, which have not supported Generic Board framework yet. Select SYS_GENERIC_BOARD in arch/Kconfig and delete all the macro defines in include/configs/*.h. Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com>
2015-02-1682xx/km82xx: read the IVM eeprom earlierValentin Longchamp
This allows to define the ethaddr env variable according to the the IVM content by reading the IVM in misc_init_r. Later, when HUSH is available the content read earlier is analyzed to populate some non env variables. Signed-off-by: Valentin Longchamp <valentin.longchamp@keymile.com>
2014-12-05km/km82xx: remove CONFIG_SYS_RAMBOOTHolger Brunck
This define is never set in our setup, so we can remove it safely. The former code causes cppcheck to complain about: [board/keymile/km82xx/km82xx.c:311]: (error) Uninitialized variable: psize Signed-off-by: Holger Brunck <holger.brunck@keymile.com> cc: Valentin Longchamp <valentin.longchamp@keymile.com> cc: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de> Reviewed-by: York Sun <yorksun@freescale.com>
2014-11-14keymile/powerpc: move to the architecture-generic board systemValentin Longchamp
This converts all the Keymile powerpc boards to the generic board initialization. This includes the 3 Keymile powerpc subsystems: km82xx, km83xx, and kmp204x. Signed-off-by: Valentin Longchamp <valentin.longchamp@keymile.com> Reviewed-by: York Sun <yorksun@freescale.com>
2013-10-24KM: define CONFIG_SYS_I2C_INIT_BOARD only for concerned boardValentin Longchamp
This must be defined for all the keymile boards that use the common i2c_abort function that is used to "reset" the I2C bus. These are currently km82xx and km_arm boards. The km83xx boards use other functions and thus do not need this. This patch removes the CONFIG_SYS_I2C_INIT_BOARD from keymile-common.h and defines it for km_arm.h and km82xx.h. 2012-07-31powerpc/82xx: adapt SDRAM settings for mgcoge3neGerlando Falauto
The HW guys suggested to change these two values. And these values are now identical to the values we use on mgcoge. PSDMR_WRC was set to 1C as it should lead to better performance. 2012-07-31powerpc/82xx: use SDRAM detection for mgcoge2neGerlando Falauto
mgcoge2ne was an intermediate step towards mgcoge3ne. One difference is the smaller SDRAM on mgcoge2ne (128MB). To support both boards with the same u-boot we use here the SDRAM detection. This patch enables SDRAM detection between 256MB and 128MB. So in addition to the existing 256MB geometry: 4 chips x 8M (13 rows, 10 cols) x 16 bit x 4 banks we can now also have 128MB geometry: 4 chips x 4M (13 rows, 9 cols) x 16 bit x 4 banks Signed-off-by: Gerlando Falauto <gerlando.falauto@keymile.com>
2012-07-31powerpc/82xx: move km/km82xx-common.h within km82xx.hGerlando Falauto
The only file including km82xx-common.h is km82xx.h. So there is no need to have it as a separate file. Signed-off-by: Gerlando Falauto <gerlando.falauto@keymile.com>
2012-07-31powerpc/82xx: merge mgcoge.h and mgcoge3ne.h into km82xx.hGerlando Falauto
Since mgcoge and mgcoge3ne are the only km82xx boards, there is no need to keep them as separate .h config files. Therefore, make mgcoge3ne.h and mgcoge.h converge into a single km82xx.h file. Signed-off-by: Gerlando Falauto <gerlando.falauto@keymile.com>
